The conference takes place at the Connecticut Convention Center, located at 100 Columbus Boulevard. Some events will also take place in meeting rooms at the interconnected Hartford Marriott Downtown, the official conference hotel, at 200 Columbus Boulevard.
If you're looking for restaurants in the area, check out the Hartford Dining and Entertainment Guide, provided by the Greater Hartford Convention and Visitors Bureau. (This is a legal-size, 11" x 14", 2-page PDF document.) The Star Shuttle, a free service in downtown Hartford, operates approximately every 12 minutes, Monday through Friday, beginning at 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., and Saturday from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Download the map and view the route here. The hotel and convention center are located at stop #1.
There are very few guest rooms still available at the NERGC special conference rate. If you are unable to make reservations at the Marriott, please read the conference Ezine for alternative accommodations (issue #11 and issue #12). Also available in past issues of the Ezine are ideas for places to visit, repositories, and lots of information about the conference program!
