To utilize<br>tools, website or techniques under the tutelage of the presenter with hands on<br>activities in one of these formats.<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:500\">Guided Research.<\/li>\n\n<li style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400\">Flipped classroom.<\/li>\n\n<li style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400\">I do, we do, you do.<\/li><\/ul><p style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400\">All in keeping with our conference theme: New Englanders Here, There, and<br>Everywhere.<\/p><p>Past attendees have made a few suggestions of topics of interest. A short list of<br>requested presentations is listed below. Keep in mind this is a short list.<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400\">Case studies with and without DNA<\/li>\n\n<li style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400\">Pet DNA<\/li>\n\n<li style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400\">Civil and Revolutionary War<\/li>\n\n<li style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400\">AI and genealogy<\/li>\n\n<li style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400\">Writing for family history and publication<\/li>\n\n<li style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400\">Genetic genealogy and\/or forensic genealogy<\/li>\n\n<li style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:400\">Interesting uses of records including religious, civil, probate, military<\/li><\/ul><p>Presenters will receive a one-day complimentary conference registration. NERGC does<br>not cover travel, or hotel expenses. Remuneration is based on the length of the<br>presentation with a bonus for timely submission of syllabus material that meets NERGC<br>guidelines.<\/p><p>We are also asking that you consider carefully the audience level you associate with<br>your presentation. Our portal offers the following level options:<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:500\">Novice, someone new to this topic.<\/li>\n\n<li style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:500\">Intermediate, someone with some experience to this topic.<\/li>\n\n<li style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:500\">Advance, someone with general experience to this topic.<\/li>\n\n<li style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:500\">Experience someone with widespread knowledge of this.<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>General Interest, more informative and not related to research experience.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><p>You must submit your lecture and workshop proposals through the NERGC program<br>portal. This permits you to enter up to six presentation proposals. Visit our portal at:<br><a href=\"https:\/\/shorturl.at\/wrHp5\">https:\/\/shorturl.at\/wrHp5<\/a><\/p><p>You\u2019ll only need to enter once:<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:500\">Speakers full name, address and telephone number.<\/li>\n\n<li style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:500\">Brief speaker biography of 50 words or less for conference brochure. <\/li>\n\n<li style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:500\">Previous lecture experience.<\/li>\n\n<li style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:500\">Requirements such as audio, visual with white boards or other special equipment.<\/li>\n\n<li style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:500\">Your social media links to assist with conference publicity.<\/li>\n\n<li style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:500\">Potential for employer compensation and or sponsorship.<\/li><\/ul><p>For each proposal, please enter:<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:500\">Title this is limited to 8 words or less.<\/li>\n\n<li style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:500\">Short lecture summary. This is limited to 60 words for conference, website and brochure.<\/li>\n\n<li style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:500\">Presentation outline or abstract connecting to conference theme. \u2219 Audience level, beginner, intermediate, advanced experience, general and interests.<\/li>\n\n<li style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:500\">Participating society or organization, if applicable.<\/li>\n\n<li style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:500\">Check appropriate box to present in the conference program, Wednesday\u2019s. Pre conference, or as a workshop.
