Our Mothers of New France

Too often relegated to the background in history, women nevertheless have a key role in the survival of a young colony. Sabrina invites you to make a foray into the daily life of our mothers of yesteryear.  They left for the New World in the hope of finding a husband and starting a family there. From their arrival in the colony to their final rest, we will shed light on their rights, their gesture and their choice as a woman in New France.

Since 2012, she has been working at the Foundation François-Lamy, a non-profit organization whose mission is to preserve the heritage of Île d’Orléans.
