The Falmouth Genealogical Society (FGS) will hold its monthly talk Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 10:00 am-12:00 pm at the Falmouth Public Library, 300 Main Street, Falmouth.
The AI-Powered Genealogist: Working Smarter, Not Harder in Family History Research will be presented in person by Jennifer Zinck, CG. Zinck will highlight how AI tools can transcribe and translate historical documents, organize and analyze large sets of data quickly, refine search strategies for better results, identify patterns and connections in family history records, and assist in problem-solving for tricky genealogical questions.
Zinck is a Certified Genealogist with more than 20 years of research experience. She is a researcher, writer, and speaker who specializes in Connecticut resources and DNA evidence for genealogy. She is a graduate of the Boston University Genealogical Certificate Program and has taught for the program. Zinck is serving her fifth term as the President of the Connecticut Professional Genealogists Council and her second term on the Board of Governors of the Connecticut Society of Genealogists.
