The NERGC Society Fair – A Great Place to Connect

On Thursday, April 7, 2011 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm there will be a “Society Fair” in the Sheraton Hotel Ballroom Foyer where twenty-one family, genealogical and historical societies from all over New England will provide information about their organizations.

The Society Fair is open to the general public at no cost so that anyone can make contact with society representatives, pick up brochures and registration material, or perhaps even make a more permanent connection by joining a group.

Who knows how many of these can be of service to you in your research? Come find out!!  It’s a great place to meet and greet and gather in anticipation of the opening of the trade show at 6 p.m.. Don’t miss it!
Ralph Wadleigh, the Society Fair Chairman says, “The Fair is a great place to meet and greet fellow attendees.  It’s also a place to gather information on family associations, area repositories and genealogical societies offering a variety of information and tools.  It’s been heard that unknown cousins have met at the Fair!!  It’s the place to be before the Trade Show opens.  It shouldn’t be missed for a mix of fun and genealogical socializing!!”

There will be a cash bar available during the Society Fair.
